The Democratic Republic of Italy is a South European developed nation with capital Rome, which has been the epicenter of Western Civilization, ancient Roman culture and the Catholic Church, located in the Europe continent having population around 59,206,382 lakh. This is fourth largest in the European Union; mainly constitute Ethnic Italian, Arab, Albanian, South American, Black African, Asian, Ukrainian and Romanian. Standard Italian is an official language of Italy and Tuscan as the standard literary language. Roman Catholic is the main religion followed by 88% people besides Jewish and Muslims, constituting others.
Italy has a very rich and historical culture and it is home to the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Since the Renaissance and Baroque era, Italy has witnessed many artistic and intellectual movements. Italian artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Fra Angelico Bernini and Raphel; poets and writers like Leopardi, Manzoni, Ariosto and Petraach are recognized all over the world. Italian classical music and folk music has given birth to the Opera. Italy houses many Roman and Norman architecture style heritage monuments.
The economy of Italy is 4th largest in Europe and 7th largest in the world. Italian economy is divided into a less developed agricultural south region and industrially developed north part. Italy is the biggest exporter of fashion and designs besides luxury cars like Fiat and Ferrari.
