Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein is a small country that is situated in the Alps in Western Europe. It is landlocked by Switzerland and Austria and is a winter resort. Known as tax haven, the country is not very heavily urbanized. The landscape in the north and south are characterized by cultivated fields and farmlands. It is the smallest German speaking country in the world.
The small size of Liechtenstein has made the country easily influenced by external cultural influences. Most of these influences are from the German speaking countries of Southern Europe like Austria, Switzerland, etc. Princely Collections is the largest museum in the country apart from the Postage Stamp Museum and National Art Museum. Music and theater play an important part in the culture of Liechtenstein.
Though the geographical area and the natural resources of the country are limited Liechtenstein is one of those few countries in the world which have more registered companies than number of people. It is a prosperous, industrialized and free enterprise economy that boasts of a financial service sector and a living standard that is comparable to its larger European neighbors. The maximum business tax rate of the company is 18% and it also has easy rules of incorporation. The Swiss Franc is the national currency of Liechtenstein.
