Astronauts

Astronauts are the expert space jet pilots who are also trained to carry on space research, missions and excavations. Astronauts need to have all sorts of knowledge and practices about space communications, space science and all sorts of space craft technology.

Many countries involving US, Russia, India, send astronauts to carry on space missions. Yuri Gagarin was the first Russian astronaut who was send to space in the year 1961. From then onwards the foundation stone of space traveling was laid. America also send Alan Shepard in the year 1961 for carrying on space research. Valentina Tereshkova was the first Russian woman astronaut who went to space in the year 1963.

Before sending an astronaut to the space they are rigorously trained. Firstly, they are trained as professional pilot of jet planes and handling space crafts. Next, further training is given on carrying on space research using various technologies. All astronauts are trained to live in artificial space craft chambers in zero-gravity conditions so that they do not face liabilities when on space.

Many astronauts died when on space missions. Vladimir Komarov, Michael P. Anderson, Ellison Onizuka were some of the skilled astronauts who met a disastrous death while carrying on space campaigns.
